After a great time in Makarska in Dalmatia, our favourite part of Croatia, we were now travelling to our most exiting part of our holiday. It was the same tour we made in the previous year, so we knew that soon we were going to become sight of the mountains that surround Mostar. What we missed once again this time are the waterfalls of Kravica in Ljubuški, which is a town that you will come across, while you travel from Makarska to Mostar. When we were told at Mostar's tourist office about things to do and must sees in Herzegovina, we realized the mistake. In 2008 we have only spent a few hours in Bosnia and Herzegovina visiting međugorje and in Mostar we visited the old bridge Stari Most and had dinner in a restaurant with a view on Stari Most. This time we wanted to have some overnight stays, in Mostar as well as Sarajevo. Believe it or not, but after we parked our car on the bulevard in Mostar and started walking towards the old town, where we soon contacted a woman of the tourist office, that had an apartment to offer. Not long after that we dropped our suitcase and bags in the room and soon found ourselves enjoying the magic view of the old bridge Stari Most that connects both banks separated by Neretva river, into which guys kept jumping off the bridge, trying to keep the tradition alive and to collect some money.
