The day after the visit to the gorge in Paklenica national park, we packed our bags and our travel case. We said goodbye to the friendly and hospitable Šikić family and went into the centre of Starigrad to get us a French bread and ham for breakfast. After one last cappuccino in the bar at the water side we set for Makarska, which we would almost call our second home town. At Jasenice we continued our journey across the motorway up to motorway exit Pirovac. There we set for Vodice, where we wanted to have a look at where the webmaster's parents have booked hotel Punta to spent their holiday in mid September 2009. Unfortunately it was wet and cold there and it felt far from a place where you would want to spend your holiday. Yet we had lunch there and a few cappuccinos. We noticed that prices where somewhat higher compared to what we were used to at this time of the year in Middle Dalmatia. After some time we jumped in our car again and continued to Makarska where hopefully the sun would shine. We were looking forward to see the owner of our favourite restaurant pizzeria Sunshine.
