We already passed the entrance of nature park Biokovo, which is located on the road from Makarska towards Vrgorac. It was May day 2009 and in the harbour of Makarska we joined the celebration too on this May 1st 2009. After taking some photos for the album, perhaps very much the same like the year before, we reached the restaurant Vrata Biokova, where we ordered a plate with the same name: mixed grill Vrata Biokova. Really something for meat lovers and fans of Balkan like dishes. When you have finished your meal, try a home made travarica and buy a whole bottle if you like it as much as we do. Then it was time to continue our trip between the chalk rocks of the Biokovo mountains, passing some animals now and than, for Anita a reason to park the car and take photos. Then a dream came true: we were on top of Sveti Jure, which meanwhile has become our mountain. Of course we took the short walk again to Sv. Jure chapel and enjoyed the views of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Even though the same tour in 2006 was two weeks later, during our holiday in Croatia in hotel Supetrus resort on Brač island, we have been throwing snowballs at each other and there where heaps of snow around us.
