After a delicious meal, a mixed grill plate in restaurant Vrata Biokova, we continued our trip to the second highest peak of Croatia and the highest of the Biokovo mountains in Dalmatia: Sveti Jure on an altitude of 1762 meters. This year it was Anita's turn to accomplish the spectacular tour in her very own twenty years old Ford Escort Cabriolet. A dream came true, because every time we visited this nature park, one of the things we wanted to do was driving here in our very own car, rewarding it for the great services after all those years, despite the age. In fact the only problem that exists, is that you might get some raindrops on your upper legs while you are in a have rain shower. But in a mechanically way, we believe that it will survive the next 10 years. After we reached the top we took a the walk Sveti Jure chapel, where we enjoyed magic views of many Biokovo peaks. After returning Anita started the engine descended the highest tourist road of Croatia. Back in Makarska, while making photos of a magic sunset, she admitted that she had some thrilling moments, especially while managing the hairpin turns on top. Even more thrilling than the trip through nature park Biokovo to mount Sveti Jure by scooter in October 2007.
